DIY Paint Tips

This month we are sharing paint tips for the DIY-er’s our there.

Tips # 1 Don’t buy cheap brushes! Its tempting but please resist! It doesn’t matter if you are painting a room or painting a piece of furniture, invest in good brushes for a great finished look.

TIP # 2: Try before you buy! Most paint stores sell samples or small cans of paint. Sample each color of interest side-by-side or on different walls in your room to see how they look after they dry and in different lighting. This process helps prevent a major paint mistake!

TIP # 3 Don’t forget the ceiling! A fresh coat of paint on the ceiling can brighten up a room, even if it’s just white coat of paint. Add if you want to change it up, add some color to your ceiling!
